Meet Dean A. Del Mastro.
Yep, that is good old Dean being escorted to prison.
From Wiki – Dean A. Del Mastro (born August 16, 1970) is a former Canadian politician. He represented Peterborough in the House of Commons of Canada as a member of the Conservative Party from January 23, 2006 until November 5, 2014. After being charged by Elections Canada with falsifying election documents and knowingly exceeding the Election spending limit, he resigned from the Conservative caucus. Del Mastro has been convicted on three counts of breaking the Elections Act, including exceeding the election spending limit, exceeding his personal donation limit, and falsifying documents. Del Mastro was sentenced to a month in jail, four months house arrest, as well as receiving other conditions. Each count carried a potential penalty of up to a year in prison and/or a fine of up to $2,000. He previously served as the parliamentary secretary to the Prime Minister of Canada and the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs.
Election Fraud. That means he cheated during an election. The Prime Minister’s Parliamentary Secretary. In a democracy. He cheated during an election. He has gone to jail.
There is a pretty long list of reasons why no Canadian in their right mind (or at least those not being personally greedy with their oil and gas RRSP’s) should vote for stephen harper in the fall election.
Yet, polls still show harper being in the race.
This should not be happening. In a democracy. When you get caught cheating during an election you should expect nothing less than to see your party get it’s ass royally kicked in the next election, or, if you are like any person with a strong sense of ethics and integrity, you would have resigned in disgrace.
So this alone makes me wonder what the fuck is wrong with Canadians?
Who are these people who vote for the most corrupt, rotten, spiteful, arrogant, (cheating) and incompetent government this country has ever seen? Who are these people who appear to believe that cheating in elections is okay?
What is wrong with Canadians?
