Dirt is an ongoing visual project that addresses ideas concerning the city in the period before the Polar Caps collapse, perhaps a visual pun about humanity’s precarious position on this very thin and fragile (for us) layer of surface we call The World. It is part of a larger series that will also have sections called Detritus, Debris, and Decay.
Its mainly been about experimenting and having fun so far with a majority of the images revolving around urban construction. One I do like, which you will know by the title, is a kind of aesthetic aside, Vampire Dirt Dawn, is part of what keeps me sane when I wonder why I do this at all, and then I remember my favorite self portrait, Don Quixote Turcot, and I simply carry on. Hope you like it.
