It was pretty cold out there today and a huge sheet of ice was breaking up and floating down the river when I got there. You can hear it as the individual pieces clang against each other, especially the moving ones banging against the more solid ice close to shore. (and light backgrounds do highlight the dust problem with my camera, sorry – HELP!!!).
And it appears the city has added a few more fences further east, not sure what the method to their madness is but I have not seen any new chewings in a week so I guess all are content for the time being.
