Despite the constant rain, which I was actually enjoying very much after an intense heat wave, there were events all over the city and I caught a few.
West Verdun, lifeguard at the Natatorium killing time and staying dry.
These people were setting up for Sunday’s events.
Going all Monet on you!
There was also a modified car show.
Headed downtown and strolled along Sainte Catherine through the Pride festivities.
And a booth by this great organization, Leave Out Violence (LOVE).
May I suggest this mural needs to be repaired?
Moving west along Sainte Catherine I decided to finally check out the inside of this Church at the corner of Berri, Chapelle Notre Dame de Lourdes.
It was smaller than I thought it might be but very intense.
West from there I came upon the Under Pressure festival, lots of great art going up this weekend!
I really enjoyed the rain this weekend. Take care!
