Casserole in Verdun – Tuesday

The monster downpour we had just a few hours earlier was bound to hurt attendance tonight. About 30 people showed up at  The Monument (Verdun Metro) and it was finally decided to march on the sidewalks. Joke going around was that most people were at home using their pots and pans to bail out rainwater.

“No, Officer, I don’t believe we will need an escort tonight.”

One response to “Casserole in Verdun – Tuesday

  1. A casserole, from the French word for “saucepan”,[1] is a large, deep dish used both in the oven and as a serving vessel. The word casserole is also used for the food cooked and served in such a vessel, with the cookware itself called a casserole dish or casserole pan. In British English, this type of dish is frequently also called a bake, coinciding with the cooking technique used to cook casseroles.”
