Giant Jack Rabbit

There was always something interesting at Turcot, especially if you hadn’t been there in a little bit. There probably still is a lot of groundhogs in this area and I have some doubt that they appreciated this image of the giant jack rabbit which I recalled from an episode of the Beverly Hillbillies that I saw as a kid. Seems the Clampetts thought that an escaped kangaroo on the loose was a “giant jack rabbit” and Granny was anxious to make some stew (and the Clampetts were all extraordinarily gifted sharpshooters until it actually came down to killing something). And that’s how the mind associates things, and the infinite interconnections of urban anthropology, forever building up countless more associations through art, media, memory, and much, much more.
