invite les utilisateurs du parc Galerie
d’apporter leurs chiens dans le parc sur
samedi, le 18 septembre 13-15 h
(date de la pluie: dimanche, le 19 septembre)
… pour un événement spécial. En échange de vos histoires et souvenirs sur ce parc,
nous ferons un portrait photographique numerisé de votre chien pour vous. Vos
histoires et souvenirs feront partie d’un projet en ligne sur ce parc, et le portrait de
votre chien fera partie d’une exposition publique, sur la clôture entourant le parc,
au printemps 2011.
Cette exposition célébrera l’utilisation actuelle du Parc Gallery comme un parc à
chiens ainsi que son histoire comme un espace public particulier : créé par des
activists, les frontières du parc n’ont pas changé depuis plus de soixante ans.
Parc Gallery est un aménité urbain spécial. En créant cette exposition, notre
objectif est une plus grande reconnaissance de son importance pour la
communauté Griffintown.

invites users of Parc Gallery
to bring their dogs to the park on
Saturday, September 18, 1-3pm
(rain date: Sunday, September 19)
… for a special event. In exchange for your stories and memories about this
park, we will make a digital, photographic portrait of your dog for you to
keep. Your stories and memories will become part of an online project about
the park, and your dog’s portrait will become part of a public exhibition, on
the fence surrounding the park, in spring 2011.
This exhibition will celebrate Parc Gallery’s present-day use as a dog park as
well as its history as a special public space: created by activists, the park’s
borders have not changed in over sixty years.
Parc Gallery is a special urban amenity. By creating this exhibition, our goal
is greater recognition of its importance to the Griffintown community.
We hope that you and your dog will join us!
This project is part of Urban Occupations Urbaines (UOU), in collaboration with
Le Corridor Culturel de Griffintown/ Cultural Corridor Griffintown.
