Group on Facebook has over 29,000 members and this is not even a trend yet. I love this project! I wonder if people are doing this in Montreal? Anyone want to lie down at Turcot Yards with me?

OH. MY. GAWD. !!! I have *NEVER* in my life seen anything so cool! My soul was dead before this meme came around. A black empty pool of horror from which I am now saved! It’s as if Mohammed and Jesus met up with Buddha and they all came over to my house and we all did acid. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I LOVE YOU FOREVER. I CAN AND WILL DIE NOW.
>> I LOVE YOU FOREVER. I CAN AND WILL DIE NOW.
If sarcasm had mass, this comment would have passed the Chandrasekhar limit and would have collapsed to produce a gravitational field from which even light could not escape.
An internet to you.
Yes, I will play this game in Montreal with you. Absolutely. We can take turns lying down.

Only hipsters play that game.
I’m around Montreal. I’d love to do this, haha.
Do they ever get up again? If not, that would be even cooler.
This is obviously inspired by *that* line from The Sixth Sense.

Face Down huh…:-d I’m getting too old for this kind of thing. … But I suppose I’d be willing to ‘take one for the team’ if it ever comes to pass!
Hopefully, it won’t come to that, Jody:P!
Well, it sure looks like we are gathering a little army of lie downers here in Montreal, time and place anyone? My place is very awkward but could be worth the extra effort!
What about Sunday early afternoon-ish? Maybe just meet somewhere outside? I’m not really familiar with the city yet, so I can’t suggest a place…
Please, I’ve been lying down since before I could walk
Very interesting..looking forward to your lying down photos

It’s Blogathon in a week; I’m sure I could get a few Vancouverites to do this.

Anyone in Australia doing this anywhere in NSW
This could be fun in a big group
how about layers of lying downers.
He said, hoping to satiate his lifetime fetish of drowning in a pool full of hipsters.
Ok, who is up for a Sunday lie down, somewhere downtown?
Anyone got any ideas?
I am totally down. I’ve got to be gone by 5:45 or so because I have somewhere else to be, so I’d be most appreciative if we could do this ultimately ridiculous thing earlier in the afternoon.
How fuckin stupid do you gotta be?
This is a meme? a sport?
Looks like more future darwin award winners at work to me.
Well, you’re not supposed to do it in the road, you silly thing!
I like beans
I also like beans.
ya beans rock
They make me fart.
But I like to fart, so I guess I like beans too.
I enjoy acting like I like beans. People get confused, though.
Beans, in all forms, are groovy.
I quess they take everything lying down then.
If you build it, they will come.

Yeah, like Spencer Tunic …with clothes on.
But his shoots are a lot more fun (and much colder!).
(-google it if you don’t know the ref.)
How about Sunday at 3 downtown – meet at Peel and DeMaisonneuve?
Sounds good to me. How will we know each other? Look for sketchy people who look like they could just lie down at any moment???
Haha! That’s fantastic!
Oh, when you think of all the possibilities social media has, and realise 95% of what’s going on is stuff like this… Beautiful!
This looks like an extension of the “playing dead” meme, where entire rooms of people would just… play dead, in a room, draped over furniture and in lockers, in strange positions and all. It was really popular in Japan, I think.
I will be the very tall guy with grey hair in a ponytail:P
lying down of course.
Can we get some lying down in strip clubs or on the wing of a moving plane.
what about the standing up game. Oh yeah that is just normal. How about standing on your head.
Don’t get out much do ya, mike?
Brisbane Australia get in touch. Meet at Queens park, city, midday, first Saturday of month. Group lie down or…?
Brisbane- first attempt flunked – the gay and lesbian meeting got in the way. 2nd attempt was just me. Let’s have a go at October – first Saturday, noon. See you there.

This must be a white thing!
You people must have a lot of time on your hands to think of some of the crazy things that go on in this world. If it makes you happy do it
yawn…
and here we go again…
why is it that people are trying to be “interesting” by creating … yet again… another hype…
it’s all so dAmn boring.
Perhaps it is, but doing it is infinitely less boring than making snarky comments that ooze ennui. Just sayin’.
Hey nosila, how ya doing?
I’m good! Crazy-busy with school, which is good. How are you?
Good. Got into politics since I last saw you, heh heh. Going against those who play “The Lying Game”, it’s interesting, good time for learning and growing….
By the way, I listened to one of Voodoo Economics albums a few times, you guys are really, really good!
Exvellent idea for a photo project.. quite original indeed!
this was actually started quite some time ago.
Yea, but seems to still be popular to some extent.

I have got to play this game! ❤
It's so random and awesome. and looks like it could be the most enjoyable when played in public. I might try it in a restaurant… on a table… with people I don't know. I can't wait! xD
