Or Land For Sale. Former 2M Ressources glass recycling plant land. Not sure who would want to buy that especially if they know that they will be surrounded by a construction zone for 6 years or more as the Projet Turcot is happening.

isnt this area supposed to be greenery? on some plans i saw that 2m was to be replaced by trees
That’s part of the “selling” strategy – making the new Turcot look like some kind of sustainably green area. I have been saying all along that Notre Dame street will become a line of “light” industrial buildings. In any case, the only reason to buy that land now would be the price. You just won’t be able to function properly there until at least 2015
I’m surprised that this is a site for a “former” glass recycling plant, what with the emphasis on recycling these days.
Did it go bust, or was it moved to a much larger and better located facility?
I think they just decided to close this plant for whatever reasons, perhaps even anticipating the difficulty of operating during the construction years. They moved it all to their plant in Saint Jean sur Richelieu.
