Lower Phalen Creek Project

In Saint Paul, Minnesota the site of this project bears an uncanny resemblance to Turcot Yards. Check this out.

The picture is small but you can see there is a bluff, very much like the Falaise Saint Jacques, on the right overlooking a long railroad yard that actually has a freeway running along it on the other side!

Here is a remarkable history of the whole place.

And Phalen Creek itself, while very reminiscent of the Riviere Saint Pierre, will remained buried as a tunnel under the park, which is a good thing for this urban explorer.
