Herbert Staples was a Saint Henri photographer from about 1910 to the 1920’s. Dorothy Bessex, a photographer, tells the story of how her father, Arthur John Jones, boarded at the Staples’ house while he worked for the Grand Trunk Railway at Turcot Yards.
